Welcome to My Iman Montessori!
Choosing a school is an important decision for your entire family; education is a passport to great opportunities. Since My Iman Montessori's inception in 2009, our aim has been to provide premium education through both the Traditional and Montessori teaching methods. Among the key principles in shaping academic and personal excellence of a child is, undoubtedly, constructing an environment in which the child feels actively and joyfully engaged in his/her own learning. Our Preschool/Kindergarten (a combination of Montessori and more traditional philosophies) and Lower Elementary (Grades 1 & 2, Traditional Elementary) allow our students to ignite their imaginations, sharpen their vital capacities, and broaden consciences. As Eastern Iowa's first full-time Islamic school, these ideas are fused with a moral Islamic atmosphere, yielding a safe, nurturing and creative environment for our students, staff, and MIM families. My Iman Montessori provides the foundation to foster the inherent love of learning by encouraging independence, responsibility, self-respect, and intellectual growth for academic and personal excellence.

We are now participating with Amazon Smile, a foundation from Amazon.com that will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from the eligible products that you shop. This is at no cost to you and MIM. Please consider this option when you shop online.
As the seasons change, please remember to send your child to school with appropriate outdoor clothing. Don't forget to check for approriate extra clothes as students sometimes get wet from the puddles and play equipments. During sunny days, you may send sunscreen and label your child's name on it. For cold and wet days, send extra light jacket or boots.
2016-2017 MIM Calendar - we DO NOT follow the CR district calendar this year, due to changes in their calendar. We have created our own calendar, based upon several local district's calendars.
